Source of Inspiration

”Source of Inspiration” är en kortfilm om den Samiske konstnären Roland Pantze, producerad och regisserad av Linda Blomqvist, Inone Productions AB.
Den fångar en livsstil full av frihet och vördnad inför naturen och den inspiration den utvecklar i den speciella miljö i vilken Roland verkar.
Roland som också är en internationellt erkänd konstnär finner grunden till sina motiv i det karga lappländska landskapet.
Hittills har filmen visats februari-april i Seattle, Nordic Heritage Museum, i samband med en utställning av Roland Pantze´s tavlor. Dessutom har filmen representerat Sverige i EUDocs festival i Los Angeles och visas i oktober 2008 på Aero Theater of the American Cinematheque i Santa Monica.

Filmen är inspelad i DVC Pro HD, NTSC.

Source of inspiration

The story of an artist living in solitude in the wilderness of northern Sweden goes beyond showing the unique heritage of a Sami indigenous person. It captures a lifestyle that inspires a freedom we rarely get to experience anymore.

Has so far been screened from February to April ‘08 at Nordic Heritage Museum in Seattle in combination with an exhibition of the main chracter Roland Pantze’s paintings. The film was also chosen to represent Sweden in the EUDocs festival in LA and will be screened on “the Aero Theater of the American Cinematheque” in Santa Monica with 425 seats in October ’08.

Mainly produced in High Definition Television on NTSC and PAL for widespread public distribution such as PBS and other broadcast networks.
